Astrology is a set of beliefs about mysterious influences the stars or planets have on us. This is not based on any scientific method, and is really just superstition.
By the way, the people who study each of the discipline would be called "astronomers" and "astrologers"

They don't. That's the job of astronomers.
As of now, there is no definitive evidence of life on Mars found by astrologists. Various missions to Mars, such as the Mars rover missions by NASA, have searched for signs of past microbial life but have not yet confirmed its existence. The search for life on Mars is ongoing with future missions planned to further investigate the possibility.
Maybe when one shows up and announces himself.Or maybe not. Astronomers aren't really too interested in that stuff.

Scientists who look through telescopes are known as Astronomers (Astronomy). Astrologers are those who deal with the divination art of Astrology.
Pluto was found to be a giant star, by some very smart Astrologists/Scientists. Pluto is not the 9th known planet of our solar system.
