Binary is Computer Code In Only 0 & 1 's.

1 bit = one 0 or 1

1 byte = 8 bits

8 bits or 1 byte = a group of eight 0 & 1 's

Bytes measure capacity i.e. how much data it can hold . one byte can hold one character. 8 bit is equal to one byte.

There are 8 bits in a byte. A bit is a Binary Digit, or a 1 or zero. Bytes can then be measured in kilobytes, megabytes, gigabytes, terabytes etc..
