Well they are both bears:) Polar Bears are actually black! It's just were they live that makes them look white. You will have to do more resarch. It's been a while since I read anything about them. Sorry I wasn't much help
For the most part, they are the same, except one is brown, one black, and black bears a re smaller. Diet changes too, as brown bears are carnivores, while black ones are omnivores. Your more likely to see a black bear in a tree too. :)
