In the horse, fermentation of the ingested vegetation is after the small intestine, in the cecum. In the cow, fermentation of the ingested vegetation is before the small intestine, in the rumen.
There are several differences in the digestive system between a bird and a cow, as follows.
Cows do not have a crop and a gizzard, nor do they have two long and functional ceca. Birds do not have a four-chambered stomach, nor is their digestive system so large and expansive as a cow's: not even the largest bird in the world has as large a digestive system as the smallest mature cow does! Birds lack teeth and a strong, rough tongue, thus they need to consume stones to break down the food which they have swallowed whole. The food that they consume is broken down so much and so finely that the feces that come out comes in a form of highly concentrated urea and fecal matter, unlike the cow, which will often have tiny bits of feed particles which can be easily seen in her feces. Birds also don't defecate nearly as much as a cow, or at least in such large piles.
The differences between the reproductive tracts of a cow and horse are only going to be for the cow (mature female bovine) and the female horse (the mare), not between stallions and bulls. Hence, such differences are as follows:
The related links below show diagrams of a cow and mare's reproductive tract. Please visit those links for a more pictoral demonstration of the differences between these two female mammals.
Cows are female bovines. Bulls are male bovines. Therefore they have the same digestive system!!
At their mouths.
It doesn't.
View the following related links for a couple example of a cow's digestive system.
Besides length, a cow's intestines are no different from a human's. Both have the same functions as the other when it comes down to digestive processes in the digestive system.
keeps their digestive system healthy jusy like humans.
Because cows are bigger than us and they have a larger digestive system than we do.
cows CAN eat horse pellets, but it is not good for their digestive system. I wouldn't recommend trying it...
A cow has a four-chambered stomach designed to digest coarse plant material.
The muscular system is a series of different muscles throughout a cows body. The muscles serve the purpose of helping the cows to move.
NO. Cows are herbivores, not carnivores.
In their stomachs like we do.
