Lions are much bigger, and cheetahs are much faster. Cheetahs are built for the chase, slim and able to turn on a dime, where lions are stalkers , getting close before making a rush.
they see each other as threats
No, but the lions and cheetahs are great enimies
No not at all. Lions will kill cheetahs and cheetah cubs if given the chance.
Yep, the spots are slightly different on each cheetah. I think they look as different to each other as we do to each other.
Lions do not hunt cheetahs. However, lions will occasionally go after an injured cheetahs as prey, and frequently will eat cheetah cubs that they are able to findI think lions and cheetahs are very much alike and different. So my answer would be maybe because they're both predators in the wild, I believe that they have tried to eat each other at one point though.lions don't eat cheetahsVery seldom does this happen. Big cats tend to avoid attacking other species within the cat family, only doing so if there is conflict over food resources- a cheetah who dared to encroach upon a lion's fresh kill would be chased away and threatened with a mauling, but other than on such occasions they leave each other alone. Also, cheetahs are very much faster than lions, and can outrun them very easily. Neither species is a threat to the other and they tend to tolerate each other, clashing when food is being contested. A lion would only actually feed on a cheetah it it were starving, the cheetah had been aggressive first, and was also unable to run away.Well, cheetahs and lions can fight. In fact, cheetahs kinda fear lions. I wouldn't think that a lion would eat a cheetah, maybe injure it or kill it.
In the wild, a lion may eat a cheetah if they encounter each other, as lions are known to prey on other carnivores, including cheetahs.
They run away from the enemy or kill them.
they are both really the same percentage with each other
Cheetahs often stick in groups to help each other out. When one cheetah is injured, the other cheetahs help that injured cheetah to move on.
Lions and cheetahs are both carnivores, but they typically do not prey on each other due to their similar size and strength. Lions are more likely to target larger prey like buffalo or zebras, while cheetahs prefer smaller animals like gazelles. In rare cases, a lion may kill a cheetah if there is competition for food or territory.
Well, cheetahs have a special relationship with birds called oxpeckers. These birds help keep the cheetah clean by eating pests off their fur. It's a beautiful example of how different species can work together to help each other out in nature.
It is possible for most wild cats to mate with each other with the exception of cheetahs. The cheetah's bone structure is just too different from other wild cats for them to be able to produce a hybrid with another cat.
