Well they go threw a convayer belt at a factory that cleans and cuts them into perfect pieces, their placed into plastic cups and drought in sugary fruit juice, and served in school.

Fresh Oranges are served whole so you can peel them yourself and eat the segments. They are served sliced or cut in wedges as a garnish. They are squeezed for their juice. Some times they are used in cooking and that might be just the meat of the orange or the skin as well (like in marmalade).
