One way people stop animal abuse is by joining an animal protest group that boycotts animal abuse. One group that people are mainly familar with is The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA). To join this group you can go onto www.ASPCA.org and help prevent cruelty to animals.

∙ 11y agoFirstly, you would have to know why the animals are becoming endangered in the first place. There are a lot of reasons why the animals become endangered, but the main ones are (Not arranged in order of importance) :
- Global warming
- Pollution
- Destruction of habitat
- Increased competition for food
- Poaching
The ways people could help stop or prevent animal endangerment is to stop the above things from happening. You can "go green" to minimize global warming and pollution. people can petition for the habitats to be preserved or new habitats to be created. Almost every living thing has a predator that can eat them, except for the top carnivore/omnivore, perhaps, which is why competing with the animals for food is inevitable, and with human technology, most of the time, the human will get the prey, and the animals with go hungry, and over time, starve to death. Unless all of the humans can be persuaded not to eat forever (impossible, or the human race will be extinct), there is no way to stop the competition for food. However, there are ways to minimize the competition for food, such as farming (humans have their own source of food, and not hunt for those in the wild), but farming takes up a lot of land, which encroaches on the animals' territory. Poaching exists for several reasons, such as, for fashion, or medicine, illegal pet trade, etc. In general, poaching exists because there is a demand for the products. So, for poaching to cease to exist, no one must want anything from the animal parts, or feel that keeping exotic pets are cool and this message is often communicated through advertisements, etc, to persuade people to avoid buying animal products.

Why is animal abuse so common?
Animal abuse is very common because most people think that animals are helpless and you can do anything to them. You get mad at them, so you throw them. They claw you, so you cut them. Animal abuse is wrong. Some people think that animal abuse is nothing, but it is indeed not nothing. People think that since the animal can't do anything, they can take control over them and hit them, put them in illegal animal fights where they are often killed or kill them themselves. People who cause animal abuse or horrid people, they do go to jail where they belong. Imagine if you were abusing an animal, now think if you were the animal being abused, you wouldn't like it either. Animals should die of old age, not of being abused.
