both the radio waves and infrared waves travels at the same speed but different in their frequency and wavelength
Radio waves:
In radio waves wavelength is large(1 to 100km) and frequency is small
Radio waves are less energetic than infrared waves
Infrared waves:
In infrared waves wavelength is small (0.7-30 micrometer) and frequency is large
Infrared waves are more energetic than radio waves
They are alike in the way that both travels as waves.
They are alike in the way that both travel at... speed of light...
However.
Radiowaves contain more energy and can penetrate some materials that light can not.
Ok well X-rays and Radio waves are similar since they both are on the EM Spectrum. They both travel the sames speed which is like the speed of light. I'm actually doing an apa format paper right now and I have to research radio and ex-rays, so this information is accurate because I have been researching for SEVERAL hours.....ok now back on task...hehe. Well X-rays and Radio waves because they are the same as light and electromagentic radiation ;). Like I said, they are both on the EM spectrum except the radio waves is the first one so its 700 nanometer while the x-rays is the second to last (closer to 400 nanometers). If you dont really get any of this... if I were you I would do more research :) HOOOPPEE THIS HELPED <3
Light waves, and sound waves, very similar, but very different at the same time. They are both types of waves, and both carry energy from one place to another. But also they are both picked up by our senses. Both of these waves reflect off of things but the speed of them is quite different. While light gets brighter, sound only gets louder. Light can travel through a vacuum, that's one thing a sound ray can't do. So obviously light and sound rays are very different, but at the same time very much alike.
They are both electromagnetic energy, just different frequencies, thus possessing very different properties and characteristics.
They are both examples of electromagnetic radiation: X-Rays are very much higher frequency than radio waves.
Light waves ( 375-750 nanometers, 10E-9) are much smaller than radio waves(300-3 meters).
hm.. I think both are standing waves
'Radio' waves are physically and electrically identical to light waves except for their frequency (wavelength), and they travel at the same speed as light does.
Radio waves are a type of electromagnetic radiation similar to visible light. If there were 2 light sources with different color light you would not have any problem seeing both colors. It is the same with radio waves on different wavelengths.
The speed of television waves is exactly the same as the speed of FM radio, heat, infrared light, green light, purple light, ultraviolet light, microwaves, x-rays, AM radio, bluetooth signals, taxi radio, garage-door-opener waves, and gamma ray waves ... because all of these waves are the same thing. The speed is 299,792,458 meters per second, or 186,282 miles per second. ADDED: It may help to realise the television is simply a special form of the radio.
Both are forms of electromagnetic energy and travel at the same speed, which is the speed of light.
Radio waves are electromagnetic waves. The radio waves have the longest wavelengths in the electromagnetic spectrum. A radio wave has a much longer wavelength than does visible light. We use radio waves extensively for communications.
The same.
THEY ARE THE sAME

Radio and light waves are electromagnetic waves, sound waves are not.
Of course. That's how they reach the radio in your basement. Radio waves do all the same kinds of twisting, turning, bending, bouncing, and spreading contortions that light waves do.
no, they are made up of light waves, similar to radio waves and both are in the same spectrum (the electromagnetic spectrum) but they have different wavelenghts.

radio telescope detects radio waves and a light telescope views light waves.
Light waves, radio waves, and microwaves are all on the electromagnetic spectrum.
astronomy using radio waves, rather than visible light. visible light and radio waves are essentially the same, only radio waves have a much longer wavelength. not everything emits light in the visible band, many otherwise invisible objects can only be detected using extreme wavelengths.
Light "rays" are both waves and particles, that is the nature of light. Thus Micro Waves is the name for a type of light that is in essence just the same as visible light, radio waves, heat and X rays.
