Good question, no reasonable answer
117.000 solders died
They were treated as the worst of the worst because of accidental civilian casualties and because of civilians getting shot by us troops trying to help them by picking up weapons from fallen us enemies (al qauda members). Troops thought they were going to attack them so they shot them. Many troops are treated like dirt because of this. It's just sad that an accident can cause this. You people who believe this need to realize were helping Iraq and Afghanistan. Just search in google "Us troops with kids in Iraq/Afghanistan" were giving them candy, letting them look through our scopes, training there police and soldiers, building schools, and stopping terror. Were helping them not killing them
All of the countries fighting in Afghanistan are part of NATO and have contributed to the war. The number of countries in NATO and ISAF (also in Afghanistan) are numerous, over 34 countries including USA, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Poland, Italy, and Australia
The best answer will be " US in Afghanistan"
The US invaded Afghanistan in 2001!
The US invaded Afghanistan in an attempt to wage war on terrorism, as Afghanistan is a hub for terrorists. The US is not at war with Afghanistan, but is working with the country to fight terrorism and keep Afghanistan out of terrorist hands. The same ideology was behind the Iraqi War.
