All are beasts of burden, meaning that when domesticated, they can be made to carry or pull heavy loads. Except for oxen, the rest can carry people as well as people's goods. Oxen do better pulling with a yoke, so they can pull a wagon with people but don't do as well carrying a person on their backs. Camels would not do as well with pulling a wagon, due to the camel's size. Elephants do better with pushing or lifting, for example, moving cut logs. Horses, camels, and elephants routinely carry people in different countries. Oxen are best at doing repetitive jobs, like walking in circles on a yoke attached to a thresher.
