The difference between any meridian and the equator:-
The Equator is an imaginary line of latitude (it goes round the middle of the Earth in the plane in which the Earth spins) it is also a "Great Circle" in that the plane of the equator passes through the middle of the Earth.
Meridians are imaginary lines of longitude (they pass through the North and South Poles of Earth and are therefore at 90 degrees to the plane in which the Earth spins). Meridians/lines of longitude are also "Great Circles".
The difference between the prime meridian and the equator:-
The Equator is 0 degrees latitude while the Prime Meridian is 0 degrees longitude.
The Prime Meridian is only a half circle, whereas the equator is a full circle.
The Prime Meridian is a longitude, whereas the equator is a latitude
People around the equator enjoy the same sort of weather year-round, whereas The Prime Meridian has different weather depending on where you are on it.
It is possible for the the sun to shine on all of the Prime Meridian exactly once a year, whereas it is currently impossible for the sun to shine on all of the equator at once.
The sun generally rises and sets on most of the Prime Meridian at once (except for at the poles) whereas the sun rises and sets only on a single point of the equator at any given moment.
Prime Meridian: Imaginary line running from Pole to Pole and passing through Greenwich, England.
Equator: Runs East and West around the exact middle of the globe
The differences are that the Equator in zero line of latitude. While the Prime Meridian is zero line of longitude. Latitude is horizontal and parallel to the Equator, and longitude runs from pole to pole.

prime maridian
The Prime Meridian is a line of longitude (running north and south). It runs near London. The Equator is a line of latitude (running east and west).
equator
The vertical equator is the Prime Meridian.
equator i think
the equator I don't think its the equator, which runs east/west. How about the prime maridian

The Equator runs east-west and the prime meridian runs north-south.
The Equator runs east-west and the prime meridian runs north-south.
It goes north and soouth
prime maridian
The Prime Meridian does not divide the Earth, it is an imaginary line going straight through the center.
The prime meridian goes east to south, as the equator runs east to west. The prime meridian is used as 12:00AM on a time zone map
The equator is the parallel that consists of every point on Earth whose distances from the north and south poles are equal. In the system of geographic coordinates that we've invented to describe the location of points on Earth, the equator is defined as zero latitude.
The Prime Meridian is a line of longitude (running north and south). It runs near London. The Equator is a line of latitude (running east and west).
Both the equator and prime meridian are halfway points across the Earth. The equator splits the Earth's Northern and Southern Hemispheres horizontally (latitude). The prime meridian splits the Earth's Eastern and Western Hemispheres vertically (longitude).
