The erosive process of abrasion, which occurs in rivers and glaciers, is compared widely to sandpaper.
glaciers slide slowly when they melt and there is water under them similarly as ice cubes.
Valley glaciers form on high mountain valleys and are long and narrow. Continental glaciers covers much of a continent or large island.

The gravity on Venus is very similar to the gravity on Earth. The density of Venus is also very similar to Earth's.
deposition is when rock or pebbles are deposited, erosion is when a object weres away
The processes of digestion and absorption are similar because they both involve absorbing a substance. :)
An example: lake basins can be formed from glacial erosion which can scrape off terrain, and lower the bedrock elevation from their sheer weight. When the glaciers recede, the basins are filled with meltwater, forming lakes. In a similar fashion, the deposition of sediments that form large landforms called moraines, can serve as dams creating lakes.
Continental and valley glaciers both develop in regions where there is constant snowfall and freezing temperatures throughout the year. Both types of glaciers move at a very slow pace.
Similar events and features occur in old and new rock layers. :)
They were all created by the movement of glaciers.
I don't think they are, deposition is the settling down of sediments that had been carried by erosion. Deposition is how deltas and alluvial fans are created. However erosion is the process of moving weathered sediments to a new location. So, a way deposition and erosion are similar is that they are in the same process. Weathering -> Erosion -> Deposition
