Really bad
I need money bad! I know tons of alcoholics and do days work. I thought I could save these empty beer and soda cans and get money somewhere. Where do I sell aluminum cans right here in South Jersey?
Generally soda cans leak due to rough or improper handling. Depending where they were stored, they could have become frozen and the cans could have been damaged in the process. Being stacked incorrectly or too high or being dropped could all play into it. If you feel so inclined, you could look through the case for the bad cans and probably would be able to tell why they were leaking. If you don't feel like doing that, and you know the damage is not of your own doing, take it back to the store.
No, If that were true I'd have died before I was even born. I've drank over 100 cans of soda. At this point i'd have negative years to live. Though soda can be unhealthy, especially due to the high amount of sugar and caffeine, it is hardly THAT bad for you.

There is no worst soda. All of them are bad.
Soda is a mixture of special syrups and carbonated water. Soda "goes bad" when, in a nutshell, there is little to no carbonation left.
The only times it is necessary to refrigerate canned goods is when you need to prechill the ingredients (like canned tuna for tuna salad) or if the ambient storage is too warm (~100°F) where surviving thermophilic bacteria could start to grow. The bad thing about storing cans in a fridge would be that steel cans could start to rust since a refrigerator can be humid. Or moving cans in and out of a cooler would permit condensation on the can which could result in rust and pitting.
Liver is that organ that directly affected by soda.
