Caleb Rushton was one of the miners trapped after the big bump in the mine in October 1958. He was one of about a dozen rescued a week after the bump. I seem to recall he was rescued on Halloween when HRH Prince Phillip was visiting and meeting with miners families. He was also apparently the miner who tried to keep up the spirits of the other trapped miners after the lights gave out.
