Medium usually works.
The car will need whatever power it needs, wherever that power is coming from. A more sensible question would be how big area of solar cells and/or how many hours of sunlight a car would use up.
A car engine, a coal or petroleum power plant, a nuclear reactor.
I think it is very possable if you have a big a nuf car battery. The type of battery you would need is a rechargeable car battery. But what do i know i am just a grade 8 kid whos answering his on question.
Daniel Dingel is a controversial Filipino who claims to have invented a "hydrogen reactor" - a device which he claims to have used to power a water-fuelled car.

You certainly can but unfortunatly it would be tremendously expensive as it would involve dismantling and rebuilding a big part of the car, not to mention the parts. Cost would no doubt out-weigh the value of the car.
it's big battery's.
One way to tell if it is a big-block car is if the car has a 'Power Blister' hood, which is a funnel shaped hood bulge on the hood .
if it had no engine
Replace the power brake booster. Your losing vacume in it. ( Or ) I also had a car doing the same thing. It turned out that the wireing was melted and grounding out the power wire in the harness that goes throu the firewall. It was a big job to replace. Tim
It is a matter of cost and safety. Large scale nuclear reactors have backup systems to prevent meltdowns of the reactors and containment structures, to prevent catastrophic failures in the reactor from releasing large quantities of radiation into the area. Such safety measures would not be possible in a car. In addition, to get critical mass in a reactor small enough to fit under the hood of a car, the uranium would have to be highly enriched, almost to bomb grade. People would be able to make bombs from the fuel for nuclear powered cars. However, if you live in an area where nuclear power is used to produce electricity, if you were to buy a Chevy Volt or some other electric car, then you will be able to use nuclear power to get you round.
If it was heavily damaged, it would cost you big time.
