HTML is the scripted coding in which is responsible for how a site works. Without HTML (Scripting), a site would be of only words with no background or stable layout. Often when an old computer or computer will slow RAM attempts to load a website, but the website is of white and black letters with no design, your internet browser has not yet verified and loaded the HTML scripting. HTML can be used by cutting and pasting the code into your website's script. Many website hosts allow the owner or administrator access to the "Edit HTML" tab, in this case you can add HTML. HTML can be used to put games, videos, pictures, apps, services, templates and many other things onto a website. If HTML didn't exist, Facebook, and many other sites, would be pointless and unpopular. HTML and Embed Code(s) are quite similar, for they both require the same principle on adding and working. HTML is often found below games you are able to add to a website; same for forms and softwares, embed codes are found below videos on sites such as Hulu, YouTube, and Metecafe.
