How do you get irda Duplicate License?
Sir/Madam There are many departments in which one can acquire a license. For example motor,engg,fire,hull,marine cargo. LOP etc. it depends on ur area of interest, for example to get a license as a surveyor in motor dept on has to have a degree or diploma(not less than 3 years) from a recognised university, he has to undergo a training under a licensed surveyor, who is awarded a B category by IRDA he has to submit 4 quarterly reports to IRDA (one Year), after he is done with the training he has to apply for the examination which are conducted Insurance institute of India, mumbai. exams are normally conducted in may and oct principles and basics of insurance survey and loss assessment is a mandatory paper, other is motor(or any other which u have been trained for) min marks are 50(pass) no limit for appearing after clearing ur papers u can apply for a license with IRDA its a job of high responsibility, so IRDA has raised the bar for qualification and passing of the exams for the candidates, last but not the least its very difficult to get a license to act as a surveyor and loss assessor but its worth going for if so, best of luck for ur future endeavors suleman khan surveyor & loss assessor
