What you're describing sounds like low hydraulic pressure. That can be caused by an internal hydraulic leak or a worn hydraulic pump. Internal hydraulic leaks can be a "valve body" issue, which can be a little less money than a full transmission rebuild, or it can be something much more difficult/expensive.
If it's the hydraulic pump, it must be replaced to solve the problem... however, once you have the transmission apart, you may as well rebuild the whole thing.
Now for the good news.
For a vehicle that is 15 years old, you would probably be better off just putting in a can of "Trans-X" or other transmission seal reconditioner. Seal reconditioners cause the seals to soften slightly and enlarge, resulting in a little less internal leaking. That can be a way to get a little extra life out of a worn transmission.
Good luck.
The 95 Saturn SL1 does it too.
It should start right up. If not, press the accelerator slightly
The differential is bad inside the transmission.
No, but it is very hard to get loose.
The quad driver module on a 1995 Saturn SW2 is found in the car's ECU/PCM, which is the cars computer. If there is something wrong with the computer then the reverse lights and windows will not work.
There are a couple of reasons why a 2005 Saturn Ion's reverse lights will not work. The fuses may be blown or the light bulbs need to be replaced. Fuses and bulbs can be purchased at any auto parts store.
The Saturn Vue Passenger Airbag that are usually defective are usually recalled.
the reverse safety back up switch is located on top of the transmission next to the clutch resivior
No,it is right hand thread.
1. Saturn did not make the LS2 until 2000, you probably meant the SL2 2. If reverse is gone it's probably either the clutch pack or the valve body. Either way, you'll need to take the vehicle to a transmission shop.
your question makes no sense. but i think the answer is internal combustion There is a steel cable going from the accelerator pedal to the throttle body, and on the throttle body there is a Throttle Position Sensor which tells the computer how hard you are pushing.
Not installed properly? operating water pump in reverse direction?
