Buy a new mouse.
Laptops and PCs are the same in basic architecture. Laptops are merely more compact by design. Most modern laptops have a built-in mouse and the capability to use an external mouse as well.
On most laptops left click is just click the touchpad with two Fingers if thatβs what you mean.

USB mouse should go into most laptops.
Once you've found your target, just click on the left side of the bar below the keyboard, it maybe a bit stiff though. It acts like the left clicker on a standard mouse, as the right side of the bar acts like the right clicker on a mouse. Hope this helps?
Go to Control Panel - click on the mouse icon - in the small box that opens - click the Device Settings tab. Put a tick in the box next to the 'disable internal pointing device...' - Click Apply and you're done. To re-enable it - remove the tick.
They can have mice...simply plug a mouse into the green port. They often don't however because they are laptops...where would you put the mouse if you are sitting on a chair with the computer on your lap.
It is known as a touch pad.
