Additional Details:

I am in high school

My Mom is christian, dad is Jewish, so i wasn't allowed to get a bar mitzvah. U need a Jewish mom to do that, for some reason.

I celebrate the holidays, but not the sabbath/shamas.

My dad, whos jewish, pretty much only celebrates the holidays, so he isn't helpful

I really want to eveantually formally convert to Judaism, but right now I just want to be more involved. I don't have a synagogue nearby my house. What can i do to start becoming a part of the culture, tradition, and religion?
