By driving at or even a little below the speed limit, avoiding "jackrabbit" starts, anticipating stops and lifting your foot from the accelerator sooner, keeping air filter clean, changing spark plugs when recommended, and checking tire pressure often, adjusting as needed to keep to the recommended pressure.
Fuel injection is a great thing, giving good performance and better gas mileage than a carburetor, but there really isn't much to "tweak" to make gas mileage higher. None of the aftermarket devices for improving fuel mileage actually work unless they, through the placebo effect, cause you to change your driving habits.
