There are no fast methods to lower your blood sugar without medication. But if you monitor your diet, it can be simple to maintain healthy blood sugar levels. I suggest checking food labels for added sugar and to avoid buying these foods. Often these foods less sugar are more expensive, but they are much tastier. (Spaghetti sauce does not need sugar, IMO)

Starch is also a carbohydrate which, when broken down by the body, ends up as sugar. So it is also important to avoid refined carbs such as white flour and opt for the brown kind.

Exercise also influences your blood sugar levels since exercise makes the body cells more sensitive to insulin, the chemical in the body that regulates sugar levels.

In order to lower your diebetic blood sugar level an appropriate diet is mandatory. In looking at ingredients on a food it isn't enough to just check the sugar numbers. You also have to check the sugar carbohydrate percentage in order to assure you are purchasing a low sugar product.
