you cant because psp' constantly send info the the main "place" telling them if you ave it chipped or you have emulators soz Ok. First lean to spell, then get your facts strait, because you can put emulators on your PSP. It is a very hard process, and could ruin your PSP, but if it is really worth it to you then go right ahead.

OK this is fairly easy. The first thing you need is the emulator itself. For this example I will be talking about the GBA Emulator Gpsp. Once you have the emulator downloaded you should have a folder named "Gpsp. . . " and another one names "%gpsp . . ." Those files are what make the emulator run. To install it onto your psp you need to copy them into Root:/psp/game. Once the folders are in psp/game open the Gpsp folder without the % sign. Once in that folder make a new folder called "ROMS" all caps. Now when you get the roms you put it into that folder. To run the emulator go to the menu on your psp and go to the game icon. Scroll all the way down to memory stick and click it. You should see a icon named Gpsp with a white background. Click it. The emulator should start. Once it is started the buttons are a little different. In gpsp's case the confirm button is now O instead of X. When it opens it will be a blue screen and on the top right of the screen you will see a .... and under it should be your ROMS folder. Highlight it and press O. Now the folder should open and you will see a list of all the roms you have. Highlight it and press O to start the game. --Reminder-- You need to have CUSTOM FIRMWEAR on your PSP to play/run Emulators.

You are going to need the following:

1. A Custom Firmware PSP with a 3.XX kernal

2. Unofficial gpSP Kai v3.2 Test 8.7

Steps

1. Download the gpSP from the above link. Extract the files into your desktop. After, open the ms0/PSP/GAME folder. Until you see the folder gpSP. Copy that folder into your GAME folder on your PSP.

2. Go inside the gpSP folder in your PSP. Now download the GBA BIOS use Google to search for it. Rename the bios to "gba_bios.bin". Transfer that file to the gpSP folder.

3. After get your gba roms and put it on the ROMS folder inside that GBA folder. Gpsp can play .gba and zip files that contains the .gba file.

4. Copy the .sav and .svs files from the GPSP folder into a backup folder.

5. Open VisualBoy Advance and go File/Import/Battery File and choose the .sav file.

6. Do what you want to do on VisualBoy Advance and save the file as a VisualBoy Advance Save File (.sgm).

7. On VisualBoy Advance go File/Export/Battery File and save it as exactly the same name of the ROM that the save file is from.

8. Rename the VisualBoy Advance .sgm file to the same name as the ROM file, the slot you want it to be in and then .svs as the file extension. e.g. Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City0.svs.

9. Copy both files back to where you copied the files from originally and run GPSP.

10. Go to the slot you put in the filename. There should be some random picture there. Don't worry. This is perfectly normal. Just load the file and everything should work perfectly. If this doesn't work try to load savestate from file under savestate options.

You have install firmware after downgrading your psp to a lower verson, I wouldn't recommend doing it because if you don't know what your doing your PSP can brick and will never be usable again. It also eliminates any kind of warranty if you had one.
