I would imagine that you would do the same thing that you might do for a dog. Take him/her to the vet and they will have a temporary cone installed around their neck. And if the other rat that bit him/her was intended as a cage mate for your rat, You should probably keep them in separate cages.
hi i have 3 male rats of my own wich keept on pulling of their scabs of all i did to help was to get warm warter and cotten wall and soked it tnen put vaseline on wich helped alot i did not need to go to the vets as i got advise of a pet shop
it works with all animals as i have 24 pets
