Skype I think
yea i have mac and my friend has pc....
You'll need to use a web-based service. This way you and your friend can enter the website with a PC and a Mac and you'll both be able to talk to one another. One such website is 6rounds.com which works perfectly for both PCs and Macs. I'm a mac user myself and it works perfectly for me.
Yes. The Windows PC can video chat via several applications such as MS Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, Skype, Gmail chat, and AOL Instant Messenger. The Mac can video chat through several of these. Between Macs the Apple application iChat is used. This uses the AIM network and can also talk to Windows AOL Instant Messenger users. Both Macs and Widows computers can video chat via SKYPE and Gmail. For Mac, there is an application called aMSN which can video chat to Windows MSN.
if you download skype it works, ive had a lot of problems trying to video chat with my girl friend who has a mac.. it works very well, you wont be dissapointed
The user who buys a Mac over a PC is the wise one.
its apple chat that can be downloaded on to your PC
Many PC's are less expensive than its equivalent Mac. However, from experience, my Mac was worth every cent, because the design is much sleeker and the operating system is priceless. I'd go Mac. (Ex PC user, Current Mac User)
You can have video chats cross-platform if you use software like Skype on both computers or AIM on the PC and iChat on the Mac.
No. iChat is only written for Mac OS X.
The Registered User is the account (name/password) you use on the PC. Connecting as a Guest will not require the name/password but may limit what you can access on the PC from the Mac.
There's an app called flume, you can get it on your mac and it allows you to see DMS on your pc or mac, you are even able to download your chat onto your computer.
