How does pokerus go away?

Pokerus is simply (as the nurse who heals your pokemon will tell u) it's a virus that will actually help your pokemon grow it's a goo thing to spread to other pokemon u have (thru ur party and pokemon boxes)

If your lucky . and u get it your Pokemon get very strong . i don't no an action replay code to get it but its very hard to get its 1 out of 5 million to get it so good luck :)

wierd, my swampert got pokerus and i trained it to level 100 using GameShark. When i compared it to my other level 100 swampert, the stats are about the same, why?

Pokerus occurs randomly. If a Pokemon has this disease, it may spread to the others in the party. when the pokerus dissapears, the effects will remain, but it will no longer spread throught that Pokemon.

A Pokemon can get PokeRus by battling a wild Pokemon that is infected with it. It is completely by random. You will know you have it when you go to a Pokemon Center in which after healing the nurse will tell you your Pokemon is infected. The Pokemon with PokeRus will infect all other Pokemon in your party with PokeRus as well. PokeRus will leave after a time and the Pokemon will become immune to it, similar to an actual virus. However, if the Pokemon with PokeRus is left in the PC it will stay infected. In the case of leaving a Pokemon in the PC it will not infect the other Pokemon in the box.

Another method is by using cheat codes, if you are not completely against the idea, in which you obtain a Pokemon through action replay(If it is a DS Pokemon game) that has PokeRus.

A little history lesson, lol. The Pokerus has been around since Pokemon Gold/Silver. You get it by merely using a physical attack move on a wild Pokemon who has it. The odds of a wild Pokemon having it in Diamond are either 1 in 86,000 (as in Gold and silver) or 1 in 22,000 (as in black and white). Either way, it's rarer than a shiny (1 in 8,100). It is a virus that infects your Pokemon but does not harm them, instead it benefits them. Meaning that your Pokemon with Pokerus will gain 2x the normal Effort Value Points. Effort Value Points help determine how many points a stat will go up by. Normally you see +2 or 3, but with a Pokemon with Pokerus, you could expect some stats to go up by 5, 6 or even 8 points. Pokemon in your party with Pokerus will infect the Pokemon next to them after engaging in combat a few times. If you keep the Pokemon with the Pokerus in your party for a day or two of having it, your Pokemon will go immune and have a "smiley face" somewhere in their summary. They can no longer get the Pokerus or spread it, but I've heard it will still gain 2x the normal EV pt.s. So if you want a Pokemon to have Pokerus forever, put it in your PC before midnight (when they lose Pokerus). Keep in mind that If you're trying to spread Pokerus to other Pokemon in your party, they absolutely MUST be next to another who has the Pokerus. For example:

Pokemon 1 has pokerus

Pokemon 2 does not have pokerus

Pokemon 3 had pokerus but is now immune

Pokemon 4 does not have pokerus and neither does 5 and 6

Pokemon 2 will get Pokerus but 4, 5 and 6 will not because they're next to 3 who is immune. If Pokemon 6 had pokerus, however, then 4 and 5 would get it.

In layman's terms, it basically doubles the Experience Points a Pokemon would gain from a single battle/Pokemon during the Pokerus' infection of the Pokemon. Below is a more complicated explanation.

The Pokerus is an extremely rare and valuable virus that has existed in every Pokemon games after gold and silver. It doubles the amount of EV's a Pokemon gains in battle, and can be spread to other Pokemon in your party if you win wild battles with the virus'd Pokemon. After a few days, the virus will go away, but the EV doubling effect will remain. This can be seen as a tiny smiley face in the bottom right corner of your Pokemon's picture.

If you don't know what EV's are, they are a major component of your Pokemon's stats. They stand for "effort values" and are part of the game's programming. Whenever you KO a Pokemon and gain EXP, every Pokemon that gets EXP will acquire a certain number of EV's in a particular stat based on what species the opposing Pokemon is. (ex. a magikarp gives 1 speed EV, a geodude gives one defense EV.) A Pokemon can gain up to 510 EV's, with no more than 255 in a particular stat. At level 100, for every 4 EV's in a particular stat, that Pokemon will have 1 point more in that stat. Notice that neither 255 nor 510 is divisible by four, so you will always waste at least 2 EV's, with the effective highest number you want being 252. (ex. A level 100 gyarados with 252 EV's in attack and speed and 6EV's in HP will have 63 more stat points in attack and speed, and 1 more in HP.) There are many items you can use in game to affect what EV's your Pokemon gain, such as vitamin's (which give you 10 EV's in a certain stat, but no more than 100 in that stat) the Macho Brace (which, when held, halves speed but doubles EV's) and a number of items at the Battle Frontier which give you 4 bonus EV's in a particular stat on top of the EV's the Pokemon you're fighting would normally give. The Pokerus doubles ALL Ev's, including the items, so, for instance, if you killed a magikarp with a virus'd Pokemon that was holding a Power Anklet (+4 speed EV's), (1+4)*2 = 10 speed EV's for your Pokemon.

Be warned: since EV's can only be gained when a Pokemon gains EXP, Pokemon CANNOT have their EV's raised once they reach lvl 100. There is no way to do it, illegal or otherwise.

So, lucky for you having the virus. Spread it to everything you can.

Pokerus is a great disease.i don't know how to get it, but it made my Pokemon GO up alot in levels. It spreads to your Pokemon party, and you get more expirience for each Pokemon you fight than usual. I got it today, and i improved my Pokemon alot. it goes away after some days (1 minimum), so use it whiloe you can!
