You can hook your Xbox 360 up with an internet connection two different ways: One: Buy an Ethernet cable and plug it into the back of your router (If you have one) and the back of the Xbox 360. If you do not have a Router, unplug the Ethernet cord in the back of your Modem that reaches to your computer and replace it with the Ethernet cord to the Xbox. However, if you do it this way, no one will be able to have internet on the computer as long as you are using Xbox Live. However, that way can be a hassle if the Xbox is too far away from the Modem/Router to easily stretch a cord, or if you do not want to have cables lying around. Two: You can connect the Xbox 360 to the internet wirelessly if you have a wireless Modem/Router. In order to do that you must buy the Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter which costs around $100 US. You can order it online from their website here: http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360wirelessnetadapter/ Or go to a store that sells Xbox 360 Consoles to see if they have one in stock. If you chose to go this way, you will need to have your 13 digit Wireless Access Key to program into the Xbox 360 once it finds your home network for it to work.
There are two ways to connect your Xbox to the internet. First is using a wireless connection if you have a wireless router, ISP and wireless USB for your Xbox. Check tehnetwork setting make sure to set it to wireless mode to detect your access point and connect and enter the right password if there is. Second, you still need ISP and ethernet cord. You connect the XBox to your pc to share internet access. Set up the network connections by choosing LAN connection and bridge the connection. Hope this help.
Most of the new consoles have built in connection capabilities, but they do require that you have an internet service provider and the equipment for WiFi or Ethernet connection. Some like Xbox 360's Live Gold service also have a monthly service charge, but all require membership in there networks before any online gaming
With an ethernet cord.

PS3 has advantages only if you value the added benefits of a game console and whether you will also connect either to the internet
xbox.....
Yes it can all you have to do is get the cords and connect it
To connect to the Internet without Wi-Fi on your Xbox 360, you will need an Ethernet cable. Simple connect one end of the cable to the rear of the console and the other end to the router.
you are splitting your internet connectivity in two, your internet can only have so much power. this also happens if you connect to a "live" game console like xbox and try to use the internet, one of the two will lag*slow down*
Check your family settings or internet connection. Try plugging in a ethernet cable to your router and Xbox.. That should connect you to the internet and Xbox Live.
You simply get connection to your Internet
Yes go to wii settings then wii console and go to internet configure your internet settings with the wii then let it update.
You need the internet if you want your game console to be better. All of the Black Ops game versions are better when the internet is also a game possibility choice
