Yes. Stay out of the sun. If you go into the sun for any reason at all try to cover up; wear long sleeves and a hat. Put sunscreen on. Use SPF 50 at least.but, you have to go in the sun sometimes. you need the vitamin d if you don't have it then you can get sick and you will get some type of blood disease.

In order to achieve a tan if you are naturally pale, it's going to be gradual unless you want to burn.

Anywhere from 10-2, (the time the sun's rays work the best), shower and exfoliate to rid your skin of dead skin cells to ensure an even tan. Apply an SPF 15-30 with tanning oils and instant bronzers to ensure a little color for the day and some protection from sunburn. Bring your watch or phone with you outside to watch how much time you are out there, and bring sunglasses to protect your eyes.

Go outside and lay 15-20 minutes on each side. Keep your arms above your head while on each side to ensure an even tan on your arms.

Repeat this process five times a week until you have reached your desired level of tan. To keep this up, moisturize daily and lay out 2-3 times a week.

For an even faster and darker tan, apply a self-tanner once a week. Remember to shower and exfoliate before you self-tan, apply moisturizer to your feet, hands, elbows, knees, face, and hairline, and wash your hands immediately and thoroughly after application. Also, don't apply too much....only a light even coat is necessary, and anymore could result in the undesired orange color. I want to know how to get a tan from a tanning bed. I'm really pale and it is the thing that I hate the most about myself and makes me the most self-conscience. I've been pale my whole life and want to change that. Muscles pop more on tan guys and that also sucks, because my muscles don't pop because I'm pale. The only thing that pops on my body is my acne, because you can sure as hell see it on a pale person. I'm sick and tired of looking in the mirror, or in the camera of my phone and seeing my paleness. And girls don't want pale guys, they only go after the tan guys, and that sucks for me too. The only reason I haven't tried tanning beds is because I fear skin cancer, and I don't know any of the safe steps to take when using a tanning bed to avoid skin cancer. Please Help me, I'm at my wits end.
