Forced sex is RAPE even when it occurs among married people...plain and simple...
And You can get away safely......
When it occurs, Immediately (or as soon as possible) get away from the abuser and get to a neighbors house or other safe location and call the police..
Tell the police exactly what the abuser has just done to you and how many times they have abused you like that in the past...The police will arrest the abuser and you will be taken to a local hospital and examined to gather evidence...
Once charged with Rape the abuser (if they make bail) can not have any contact with you at all period..If they do their bail is revoked and they stay in prison while they go through the court system...

So you do have ample time to get completely away from the abuser while they are locked up waiting for bail or their trial...
