You're working on the Drexel Dr. Brown Bio 141 exam too huh?
She will not be happy if she finds this.
What lecture you in?
It's a common question in Biology...I have this same question and don't even know who Dr. Brown is.
Translation and protein synthesis begin when the start codon AUG is found. The start codon AUG specifies methionine, therefore two ribosomal subunits, an mRNA, and a tRNA carrying methionine bind together.
The mRNA is threaded through the ribosomes, and keeping it simple, a transfer RNA, tRNA, brings one amino acid to the ribosome and matches it's anticodon to the triplet codon of the mRNA and deposits the amino acid. The growing chain of amino acids are threaded through the ribosome, which has a catalytic hand in the process, and a polypeptide chain, a immature protein, is synthesized.
Transcription is the synthesis of an mRNA molecule using a DNA molecule for a template. That mRNA molecule then goes on to complete translation in the ribosome. Translation is the process in which proteins are produced based on instructions carried by mRNA.
In short, transcription creates mRNA so that mRNA can complete translation which is essentially creating a protein.
Yes, because the ribosomes are made in the cytoplasm which allows the RNA polymerase to detect the transcript
yes they are
Polycistronic mRNA
transcription:"the first step in protein synthesis, a sequence of nucleotide bases becomes exposed in an unwound region of a DNA strand. That sequence acts as a template upon which a single strand of RNA - a transcript - is synthesized from free nucleotides."The synthesis of an RNA molecule from the DNA template strand is called transcription.
what is the different between single and double circulation
Yes, but ideally a single hypothesis for one set of tests is one sentence long. If, say, you measure the viscosity of different types of ketchups and the texture of different types of ketchup, then there should be two "if... then... because" hypotheses because hypotheses should ideally be a single sentence. :)
in a cell different cell organelles do different functions(e.g. mitochondria-respiration) in the same way our body has different organs or different organ systems to do different functions(heart-respiration;digestive system-complete digestion and excretion of food)
The process of hybridization.
All RNA is single-stranded. Messenger RNA (mRNA), however, is a transcript of DNA.
"Single woman" in English is nubile in Italian.
Dipeptides and polypeptides are made from amino acids joined together by peptide bonds. Dipeptides consist of 2 amino acids, therefore are joined by a single peptide bond. Polypeptides are made from lots of amino acids. Amino acids are the monomer, there are about 20 naturally occurring amino acids. When they are becoming linked in a peptide bond, they combine in a condensation reaction releasing water.
think of it like legos. single Lego pieces are like amino acids and they get bonded together to form a longer chain called a polypeptide. polypeptides bind to other polypeptides by hydrogen bonding to each other and form a protein with structure.
The Harry Potter series has been translated into 64 different languages and each different translation therefore needed a different translator. In some countries one translator was used for the whole series but in other countries different translators handled different books in the series or pairs of translators worked simultaneously on a single book. For example, the Japanese translation was translated by Yuko Matsuoka whereas Vladimir and Pavel Medek translated the Czech versions.
Obviously the Tanach (Jewish Bible) is written in Hebrew so the word 'evil' is not present in the text. If the question is asking what word is translated as 'evil' in the original Hebrew, there are different words that are translated to evil in English that have different meanings depending on context.
A dipeptide is a molecule consisting of two amino acids joined by a single peptide bond. Dipeptides are produced from polypeptides by the action of the hydrolase enzyme dipeptidyl peptidase
The three base sequence in DNA is called a codon.
The Bible has been translated into so many different languages that it is hard to think of a single country that does not have a Bible in at least its principal language.
une girafe (with a single f)
Depending on context, single can be translated asalleinstehendsingleunverheiratetEinzel-ein-einzig
"I can't wait until you are single!" in English is Non vedo l'ora che tu sia single! in Italian.
