males can be put in the same tank but not with another male betta fish!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
males & females can not be put together because they will start pecking at each other & will start looseing there fins . & you don't want that but if you want them to breed put the tanks together to see how they react & leave them like that for a week or so & then the female will have little white lines , on her side that is showing that she is ready to breed & the male will have a bubble nest at the top of the water showing that he is also ready then you may put them together .
Yes, in a nutshell, the Betta should be in a clean secure ten gallon tank with a half of a Styrofoam cup floating cup on top.For the first two weeks the bettas should be separated by a plexi glass sheet in the center, and after let then go to each other and remove the sheet he will nip. Feed them a lot, and they will have up to 100 babies.
Only male bettas can't be together. Female and male bettas can be together and therefore reproduce.
Because they'll kill each other.
by same i think you mean color, which in case is no, they can be different colors and breed.
Both "Albino" and "Pied" are simply variants in color of a species. As long as the Betta fish you want to breed share the same genus, they can breed.... if i need to make that clearer, YES they can breed. :)
No. Betta fish will attack each other no matter the sex.
keeping multiple bettas in the same tank is not reccomended
what you can put with male beta fishMale betta fish are often mistaken creatures. They are aggressive towards other male betta fish or something that looks simalar to itself; this often happens with gouramis particularly because they are the same breed of fish with similar colors and general shape. Other than that they can be kept with gold fish and community tropiput wcal fish.ith
No...betta fish are usually aggressive and might kill the angelfish.
Not necessarily. A Betta is a "Labyrinth fish" but all Labyrinth fish are not Bettas. All the Gouramis are Labyrinth fish too.
If you can get a female of the same type as the male you have, that is best, but any female Betta will spawn with any male Betta provided they have the correct conditions and are both ready to breed.
Male Betta splendens fight with other male Betta splendens so the answer is most other fish will not fight with a Betta in the same tank. To try to list every species of fish here would be impossible.
yes of course well make them about the same size.Hope that helped.
no
Same way people do!
