You need the replacement bulbs, flat head screwdriver and socket set.
(don't remember the size ..3/8 to 1/2 socket)?
Open the lift gate to the point whereyou see the socket holders (lens).
Noting the direction of the arrow on the lens (should be pointing to the right). Using your fingers and screwdriver push and hold the lens as far as it will go (to the right) thenlift and unsnap the holder from the body panel.
While looking at the back of the lens, twist and remove the bulb socket from the lens holder. Be sure to hold onto bulb socket so that the connecting wires do not pull the socket into the panel cavity. Put the lens holder aside.
Using your fingers pull the bulb from the socket and replace with the new bulb.
Return the bulb socket to the lens holder by aligning the clipson the socket to the notched holes on the holder and and turn andlock the socket into the holder.
Align and insert the spring clip (the one that you can squeeze) on the holder, with the notched portion of the hole on the liftgate panel. Push to the right until the holder snaps back into the liftgate panel.
Repeat the procedure for the left lens.
It was necessary to loosen the screw (immediately to the right of the lens holder) on the leftgate handle because it prevented the lens holder from being pushed to the right..this was only for the left lens...use thesocket wrench.
The light switch.
i replaced the fuse on my 2006 chey colrado licence plate and it still doesnt work
check fuses, if that's not it, mack sure the socket the lights plug into are not corroded, or burned out, if so you will need to replace them. should be able to get them at any parts store.
On My 205 Escape you have to pull the screws on the inner door Panel and change it from the inside Wrong. You don't have to remove the inner door panel. Look closely at the clear plastic license plate light cover. You'll see an arrow on the right side of the lense cover. Push the lens cover to the right, in the direction of the arrow and pull out. The lens assembly will pull out. Then twist the light bulb holder 1/3 turn clockwise. It will pull out. Then pull straight out on the bulb. Just push a new bulb in and replace.
check your fuses
the bulbs that illuminate that section of the dash have most likely burned out and will need to be replaced
The problem probably wasn't the bulb. The problem is the fuse is blown and needs to be replaced and the problem will be resolved.
to wire the license plate lights you must have lights and wire them to the scooter.
Try replacing the headlight switch. Do the front parklights work and not the rear ones? If so check the harness to the rear of the vehicle for breakage.
where is the fuse for driving lights for a 2010 ford escape
see if there is power at head light plug maybe headlights are burned out
There are about 3 reasons your lights don't display at night. 1. Ground wire is loose, located on firewall. 2. Burned out LED display, must be replaced. 3.
