There is no way to stop someone from fainting, but there is a way to prevent someone from fainting. First, you make sure that the person isn't dehydrated and has plenty of water. Lack of water can cause someone to faint. Becoming too hot and sweaty too fast can also cause someone to lose consciousness, if this happens you need to make sure that no one is covering the person, because he/she will need air. Also, pouring water on them will help to cool them off, therefore making the person come back to consciousness faster.
There are many different ways that you can help avoid fainting.
1. it could be from dehydration so you should always drink lots of fluids
2. it could also be from a medical disease if you know that you are well hydrated you should see your doctor and talk to them about it
3. If standing at attention, do not lock your knees.
If you faint, it is likely that someone else is going to be the doing. However, if you are alone when you faint, as soon as you regain consciousness, you should relax and assess yourself for injuries you might have sustained from collapsing. If you find none, you should make your way to a telephone very carefully and call for help, 911, a neighbor or family member, anyone who can respond quickly. While you wait for someone to come, you can continue to relax and perhaps try to assess what it was that caused you to faint. If this is a common occurrence for you due to Diabetes, and you recognize the signs of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), take your rescue glucose or find some substitute like a glass of skim milk or 8 ounces of a sugar soft drink or fruit juice, and check your blood glucose level. If there is some other condition such as pregnancy, anemia, or any other over-riding condition, be prepared to share this with those who are coming to help.
SALT, SALT SALT, SALT.. the low blood sugar causes your iron to drop and can make you faint, lack of fluids can contribute also to heat stroke, also anemia is low salt or iron content in the body and can make you faint, quickly eat something with salt in it, in severe cases your blood may be too thin, so if your on an aspirin regimine cut it down to everyother day. if immediatly eating salt doesnt help go to your doctor, but remember this when someone faints they put smelling salts under their nose. and it makes em snap out of it, so remember that, when you head this advice.
Well i half faint a lot and its usually a combo of not drinking enough water and seeing a disturbing image. a lot of the time i make the mistake to stand up. that makes it worse. it helps me to close my eyes and take deep breaths and drink water
Fainting is caused by insufficient blood returning to the brain. Once the casualty has fainted, immediately go over and raise his/her legs and rest them on your shoulders. This causes the blood to return to the heart and brain better. Treat any injuries caused by the fall. Monitor and record vital signs such as the casualty's pulse rate, breathing rate and level of response. If the casualty does not return consciousness within 10 minutes, call the ambulance (911/995). If the casualty does return consciousness, and feels faint again after awhile, ask him/her to lie down again and raise the casualty's legs.
If you feel faint you need to get your head below the rest of your body or at least flat with the rest of your body, i.e., lie down or sit with your head lowered between your legs as close to the floor as possible (only if someone else is with you, if alone, lie on the floor to avoid a fall and further problems.) This allows the blood flow to the brain to normalize and that often is all that is needed to prevent a fainting. Always contact your doctor if you have fainted, for an exam to find the cause. If it happens repeatedly, you should seek urgent medical care.
Sometimes you need medicine to prevent fainting if it is due to a disorder or disease. Heart and artery disease and some lung diseases can cause fainting from improper blood flow or from low blood oxygen levels. Sometimes you need to have doses of drugs you already take, like blood pressure medicine, reduced. Anemia is also a cause of fainting in some people.
Sit or lie down immediately until the feeling goes away.
Inform someone nearby that you're feeling faint, and seek their help.
You have to take a horizontal or seated position. Try to lean against a wall, if you can. Also, ask somebody who happens to be near you to bring you water - it really helps.
there is no way possible
If a person is feeling faint, unconsciousness may be prevented by sitting with the head between the knees or lying flat with the legs raised.
