Very, very rarely will fanfiction turn into an official movie screenplay or television teleplay/script. The only way it could potentially happen (on purpose) is if the writer in question is also a screenwriter for the film as a franchise (you can't exactly write fanfiction for a movie that's already come out, and then expect the fanfiction to somehow work its way into a finished movie--it would have to be for a subsequent movie) or the television show.
However, most of the time, writers are forbidden by their legal contracts from reading or publishing fanfiction for the fandom that they are directly responsible for creating. This doesn't mean that writers don't know about fanfiction, just that legally speaking, they can't issue any official statement on it (such as "This is such a good fanfic, it should totally be one of our episodes!").
Fan fiction can become a movie or television episode if the film or television studios are interested in it.
It is possible for studios to adapt fan fiction into official movie or television content, but there are legal and copyright issues that need to be addressed. The original fan fiction writer would need to give permission or the studio would need to acquire the rights to the story. Additionally, the studio may need to make changes to the fan fiction to align with their vision or to avoid potential copyright infringement.

If you think of the top money making movies of all time, about 7 out of 10 are science fiction. Star Trek was not popular on its first run during the moon landing, but syndication made it one of the most successful TV shows of all time. With personal computers and the internet, science and science fiction has become more popular.
In the books its the second one but the guy doing the tv series says he is going to hold it off a bit in the series because he dosent want to make it to much like twilight, so hopefully season 3 :) season 3 between episode 11 and episode 16 :)

The series aired for three seasons and had 40 episodes and 2 television specials. The brothers are expected to go on tour in mid-2009 to become recording artists.
