One obvious suggestion would be a balanced diet (including some red meat, greens etc). Vegetarians may need to take special care in their diet if they do not eat meat and should consult an expert.
anaemia is caused by the lack of Iron in blood. in females it is 12-16 and males it is 14-18. signs of tireness, pain in muscles, sleepiness, yellowing skin specialy inside eyes and skin of palms may point to anemia. a regular blood test will always help u; its not expensive either. for anaemic people, its a must that they eat apples, beetroot, spinach, tomatoes daily. atleast one beetroot and pomgrenate is necessary, even for healthy people. spinach, green leafy vegetables, a healthy diet will help in increasing Hb. u can get a pill prescribed by a doctor too.
anemia is where there isnt enough iron in the blood to form more red blood cells making the person effected to be more fatigue. You would be able to test this by having a blood test, and checking your red blood count, and if it is low, then you would get given either ferrous sulfate or ferrous fumarate tablets to either treat or prevent anemia.
A: Folic acid-fortified diet
A: Measurement of serum folic acid levels is conclusive for folic acid deficiency anemia.
Folic acid deficiency anemia
Folic acid anemia is especially common in infants and teenagers. Although this condition usually results from a dietary deficiency, it is sometimes due to inability to absorb enough folic acid.
Folic acid deficiency, an abnormally low level of one of the B vitamins, results in anemia characterized by red blood cells that are large in size but few in number.
It is estimated that globally around 15-30% of the population has folic acid deficiency anemia, with higher rates in certain regions or specific populations. Regular intake of folic acid-rich foods and/or supplements can help prevent this condition. Early detection and treatment are crucial to avoid complications.
The type of anemia that is linked to a deficiency of folic acid is called megaloglastic anemia. It is characterized by large red blood cells that are immature, and thus don't function properly, and by neutrophils that have more segments in their nuclei than they should have (normally they have 3-4 segments). People with megaloblastic anemia also have a higher level of homocysteine in their blood.
folic-acid
Uuuum....what? Do you mean "why would a lack of folic acid NOT cause nuerological problems" or do you mean why DOES it? Please clarify,as my friend is anxious to know the answer.
What is folic acid deficiency anemia? Folic acid deficiency anemia happens when your body does not get enough folic acid. Folic acid is one of the B vitamins, and it helps your body make new cells, including new red blood cells. Your body needs red blood cells to carry oxygen. If you have don't have enough red blood cells, you have anemia, which can make you feel weak and tired. So it's important that you get enough folic acid every day. Most people get enough folic acid in the food they eat. But some people either don't get enough in their diet or have trouble absorbing it from the foods they eat. Talk to your doctor about whether you should take a daily vitamin with folic acid. Pregnant women who do not get enough folic acid are more likely to have babies with very serious birth defects.
There are a few types of anemia, so it is important to know what the deficiency is that is classified. Iron deficiency anemia, folic-acid deficiency anemia, B12 deficiency anemia; basically, depending on the physician's order, you should replace the deficiency and make changes according to your physician including a well-balanced diet rich in lean meat and fresh veggies.
it really depends on what type of anemia. there are actually several different types...b12 deficiency, folic acid deficiency and iron deficiency...really need to know the specific type and there are actually tons of herbal remedies out there...
Folic acid anemia is a known risk factor for neural tube birth defects.
