Trans output speed sensor.
the speed sensor is located on the trans housing. there is a cable that runs from the firewall to the transmission and goes into the speed sensor. there is a clip in the speed sensor at the end of the cable. pull the clip and the cable should come right out. than use a 10mm socket at the end of an extensiona dn unbolt it. there is only one bolt. after you poull the bolt out than lift up on the speed snsor and there you go. good luck.
that year model doesnt need or come with a vehicle speed sensor, however it does have a rear wheel speed sensor
Your (green S) light will flash, chech engine light will come on, your spedo will not work and if you have an auto trans you will not get lock up in 4th gear.
If it was a manual trans it was a five speed. If it was an auot then it was a three speed with an electronic overdrive. So with the electronic overdrive it was a four speed trans but the overdrive failed frequently and was disabled by many owners.
No, 4 speed auto.
Look on the transmission by where the axles come out
