You can never acquire enough acting skills. However, there is no replacement for professional help and workshops. It is also good, though, to try and better yourself as much as you can. Study acting techniques such as that of Sanford Meisner. Read auditioning and acting books. The book Audition is a wonderful book full of clever tips and tricks to make you a better actor and auditioner. Study famous actors such as Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, or Dustin Hoffman. Watch "Inside the Actor's Studio". This will help you get an inside look at where the actor's came from and how they did it. Interviews are always helpful. email local theatres for updates on any types of classes. Any training you can get is helpful.
