My husband tore the meniscus in both knees. He had surgery on one, then instead of having surgery on the second hisDoctor suggested the coxcomb injections. This was about 18 months ago, and he has been virtually pain free since. In fact the knee without the surgery has done better. We were told that it may or may not help, but decided it was worth trying. He has been on of the lucky ones if has worked well for. Additional information: I had surgery for pectus excavatum a few months a go and had a bar inserted in my chest. During the first surgery the bar came loose and they had to do it again. The second time they placed the bar in an odd position. Also, before the surgery I was having similar pains, and I'm wondering if the bar came loose.
