How can i slow my dog from eating too fast?

im not sure but you could give him small portions of food at a time so he will have to eat slower or hide the food, like they do to tigers, in like playing balls and around the backyard, so he will search, itll give him good excercise and if you get him specially recommended ones, they could be good for dental. :)

Hi! My puppy Lola is a border terrier and she eats very fast indeed! Give tiny portions, take a handful of food and put it into the bowl let her eat it and take her time and finally give the remaining food left and slowly pour some in. This will give a dog time to process the food to actually take time over what food they have in front of them. Hope I helped :)

There are a few things you can do to keep your puppy from eating so quickly:

1. Put objects such as a ball or kong in the dog bowl with the puppy food. This will force your puppy to navigate around the toy to find his food, which will naturally keep him from scarfing down the food so quickly.

2. Split the food into smaller portions. For example, if you feed your puppy 1 cup of food in the morning, split the cup of food into several handfuls, and take a pause in between giving him the handfuls of food.

3. Separate the food into several small bowls, instead of the entire serving in one bowl.
