The easiest way, of course, is to use elastic on the back. That is, open up the waistband in the back, put in some elastic, sew to the sides, and close up the waistband.
Another option is to lower the waistband on your jeans, specially if they are high waisted. Very often, this gives you a better fit. You might lose access to the front pockets if you do that, though.
Assuming you do not want to do either of these, it is a lot more complicated, since you effectively will be taking apart the jeans on the sides and at the back and tapering the cut. If the jeans have pockets, depending on the amount of tapering, you might have to cut them down a bit as well.
It might be best to look for jeans that fit well in the first place - yes, I know that means hours in a store trying on jeans, but once you find a couple of brands and styles, you are set.
no just the waist
For those pants possibly.
Yes, I just in 2011 or 2012 she started and has developed over time. I can see that her breasts started to develop still, and her hips are curved, and her waist smaller, so yes
Women tend to be curvier over the hips than men, so clothes are usually cut differently to fit better.
a short flowing dress/long top is still 'in' over skinny jeans :)
I had the exact same problem, I was so frustrated until I found custom made jeans. I get mine at Make Your Own Jeans. They start at just $48.00. You have total control over the style, fit, cut, rise, length, everything. I just love them. You even have choices of different cute pockets and other embellishments. They look great and they're so comfortable because they fit perfectly. http://www.jeanshub.com/MakeYourOwnJeans/htmlredir.html
your waist isn't covered by your pants, its a little below your bust. you would measure your hip size with your pants if that's what you mean, but your hips are probly over 36.
wear heels. a white collared shirt (tailored!) over the shirt put a belt, like on your proper waist (just below your rib cage)...
Skinny jeans are definitely still in style in the year of 2013. These types of jeans have been around for over a decade, being worn by stars and politicians.
Over your skinny jeans
I got mine right under my hip bone just underneath where your jeans hit your waist. My mom never found out I ended up telling her. but if you over 18 who cares!
You can only get fat all over your body, but it goes more to your hips if you're a woman than if you were a man.
