How can improve Filipino culture?

This is way to vague and confusing. Please rephrase and resubmit. Be more specific.

This is mostly for people in Luzon, for they become too westernized and sexual. Makes Filipinos look bad. How to improve?

1). STOP CELEBRATING OTHER COUNTRY'S HISTORIES

First off, Filipinos (in Philippines) should STOP celebrating American holidays like Thanksgiving. My sister told me, a relative from the Philippines said she was seeing Thanksgiving sales and promotions in the Philippines. Cool! Celebrating Another Country's history! So that one, Filipinos should probably stop celebrating America's history and celebrate their own. Philippines honoring Thanksgiving is like Mongolia celebrating China's independance from the Mongol Empire. Complete nonsense.

2). DECIDE WHICH LANGUAGE YOU'LL SPEAK

Secondly, Filipinos should speak a language WITHOUT code-switching in the middle. This means, switching to English words and even phrases IN THE MIDDLE of a speech or conversation. Filipino politicians and talkshows do it all the time, gets annoying. Too much English is creeping into Filipino. So the Filipino language should be getting monitered, like Spanish and French languages. Or otherwise, someday it'll be Filinglish, no longer Filipino.

3). HISPANICS? MALAYS? PACIFIC ISLANDERS? MAKE UP YOUR MIND.

This is a big one. Thirdly, Filipinos should make up their minds of what they want to be called. I've seen thousands of blogs with ridiculous posts, by Filipinos wanting to be called all of these things. Hispanics, Malays, Arabs, Pacific Islanders which just drive me nuts. What's the problem with being called Filipino? First, Filipinos want to be called "Pacific Islanders". Just because Filipinos live on islands in the Pacific, and that they are Austronesians. I don't see Japanese people whining about being called Asian. Spanish, is spoken as a large minority language in the Philippines. We have Filipinos, who can speak Spanish wanting to call themselves "half-Hispanic". I've also seen blog posts by Filipinos wanting be called Latinos! Those Filipinos who don't even speak Spanish! Spanish isn't even the national langauge of the Philippines. Knowing this, in what world are Filipinos Hispanic or Latino? We may have SOME Hispanic origin. Point is, we're not Hispanic. Spanish is not the official language of the Philippines. Bahasa Melayu, or the Malay language is no longer spoken in Philippines. Now, I understand by Filipinos are mistaken for Malays. Because Malays and Filipinos share a lot of cultural similarities, and even share the same place of origin. But Filipinos don't speak Malay as a native language. Filipinos USED to be called Malays, but I'm glad this was stopped by anthropologists. Because Filipinos brag about their Spanish-American heritage and become too American-influenced. So no, Filipinos are not ethnic Malays.

4). CUT IT WITH THE DIVA AND PROSTITUTE CULTURE

I get really embarrased when I see some of the famous people from Malaysia or Indonesia. They're proud of their Malay-selves. Filipinos on the other hand, want to make themselves white and Chinese like. This isn't a trolling post, just watching The Filipino Channel. You'll see them, all white and trying to act like a bunch of prostitutes. I understand, some Filipinos are so poor that they need money. I'm not talking about those, I'm talking about the people you see on those nasty Filipino gameshows. It gets really irritating.

5). STOP BE BEING DIVAS - BE PROUD FAMOUS OR NOT

This is a similar post to #4. But rich Filipinos, always brag about being Filipino and all that. This is what I call false-patriotism. For 70% of people who say, "I'm a proud Filipino!" or "Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!", are only saying those because of Manny Pacquiao and Charice. My cousin's friends have also told me, that during parties Filipinos are always loud, obnoxious and in a hurry to be the first ones to get food, and sometimes become food-hogs and take food first; wrap it up in foil to take it home. Who are these people? Most of the time, wives of rich doctors. You guessed it right. During parties, I'd also hear Filipino visitors yapping on in Tagalog how dirty and nasty Philippines and Filipino street food is.

So, Filipinos should do those FIVE things as a start. But I know, it won't happened. Unless a Jose Rizal II pops out of nowhere and starts another revolution. If one even exists....if I was president of Philippines believe me. There'd be a lot of changes.
