To become a nurse in a hospital you must first get your degree or certification that the particular hospital wants. Most hospitals prefer a Registered Nurse (RN) degree. Once one gets their RN degree they have to apply for a license in the state they plan on working in. Once they are approved for a license, they then have to take a National test called the NCLEX. Once this is done, one should be able to work in the hospital as a nurse.
