To enter in Windows 2000 terminal without a username and a password you need:
1. exclusive physical access it. 2. Windows 2000 Installation Disk.
Follow these steps:
1. Boot the system using the Win2000 Bootable Disk. 2. Goto the Recovery Console. 3. Presto.
Since Win2000 does not ask for an Administrators Password in the RC; now you should be able to have DOS based access to your files.
P.S. This I have tried on a Desktop System; you may try it on your laptop ;-)

∙ 11y agoYou can reset windows user account password in safe mode (F8 when booting up). But if you forgot administrator password, you have to reinstall windows OS or use windows password recovery software. If you don't want to reinstall windows, maybe Google third party password recovery tool or Google "Windows Password Reset 9.0" can help you.

Many of these cracking tools can be obtained freely, however MANY will come with viruses attached to them if they are not obtained from a trusted site. The tools will generally act as a utility in that you will need to reboot the computer and run the utility at start-up.
