  • There are so many variations to this and what it can do. Then there is to "how far should we go with stem cell?" It's a subject worth studying on the internet. I am totally facinated with it because it will hopefully cure a lot of diseases, but on the other hand it also can cause the powerful to do things with it that may not be so good. With each new technology we learn there is a big down-side to it and the powerful fight to the limit to get their hands on it and control it and not always for the good.
  • Stem cells are used to save lives. Stem cells are like clean slates and the body tells them what they have to become and what to do; replacing any abnormal or harmful cells. If that person had half a brain they would know not all stem cells come from babies, but from bone marrow and even umbilical cords. I have leukemia and used cord blood stem cells for a transplant and have been in remission for 10 years. I suggest looking up the benefits of stem cell research before someone gives you the wrong idea.-

^^opinions^^ //Answer>> Stem cells are a special type of cell that can become any cell and perform its specialty. Stem cells can become a cell that is either damaged or missing.
