It can affect relationships in a number of ways. It certainly makes you smell sort of bad, and also a lot of people will not date a smoker (and if they do, they often try to get them to stop). It can cause people around you to become disappointed in you once you start, and some people may downright avoid you because they hate the smell and being around it that much. When you're out in public, expect to be treated like a second-class citizen; people will scrunch their noses at you, talk down to you, and overall develop a ''holier-than-thou'' attitude toward you. Unfortunately, many non-smokers are indeed like this.

It can end possible friendships and relationships before they happen, and it can harm existing ones. These are just a few of the many ways smoking can negatively affect relationships.

Positively, smokers are usually drawn to other smokers, and some people find smoking attractive (i'm not sure why). Those are really the only two I can think of there.

I've been a smoker for eight years and a non-smoker for two months, so i've certainly seen the differences. :)

A healty person is one who is able to make and maintain relationships with other people?

Incorrect. Relationships with others are emotional/mental. Persons need to be compatible to have a relationship. This is influenced by hopes and dreams, hobbies, thoughts, as well as habits, of two or more parties. Naturally some (healthy) persons struggle more than others to form and keep relationships. Explanations include lack of self esteem or self respect; personality of an introvert; unaware of what is acceptable behaviour socially; empath; feeling alienated amongst peers or discrimination. These are healthy people with different backgrounds; personality types or coping techniques.
