Black and White Rhinos can live in all tempered zones in the world that provide food for them. The Indian rhinoceros is not wildly different in it's needs from the black and white rhinos of Africa. So it is reasonable to assume that African black and white rhinos would survive in India easily.

However, it sat ill isn't enough. Sophisticated poachers still manage to evade Rangers and sell horns, and the reserves are not large enough to protect them from habitat loss.
