What we need to do is crack down on the purchase of illegal guns. Although that would only help a small percentage. What we need to do instead of stricter gun laws is to enforce weapons and or hunters education and stop ignoring the mentally unstable or people that have depression. And put the money into programs that help those that need help and weapons education programs. What makes up most gun deaths is suicide or accidental shootings. The government is only doing this to make it harder for law abiding citizens to defend themselves or others and trying to make us think that we are reliant on the government for safety. There have been many interviews with criminals, they asked them what stopped them from committing crimes they planned on committing and the response was the same from the majority. The said they knew or thought there was a civilian carrying a personal protection firearm. gun laws are just another way to say disarming the public. Because we all know the majority of the public are law abiding citizens and these laws only affect law abiding citizens which more laws will change nothing. We all know guns are dangerous, of course they are. If they weren't they would be of no use. By the way the most prevalent type of murder is called Democide which is murder committed by the government. Which in the last century alone was responsible for over 170 million deaths. So basically its not gun control its citizen disarmament and its not anti crime its anti defense. The most important thing to realize is when a gun control law regulates or demeans law abiding citizens in the falsely calling it crime control thats actually tyranny. When gun control restricts or controls your right to own or purchase a firearm that is called citizen control being portrayed as gun control. Its important to remember its not what you say its how you say it. This quote shows words out of context or whats said being portrayed as something its not can be extremely dangerous, this has been shown many times throughout history.
The debate has been going on for decades. A start would be to enforce all the laws on the books, no plea bargins and full sentencing.
