Currently, there is no "friending" feature on WikiAnswers. However, every member of WikiAnswers has a bio page and a message board, and you can leave them messages if you like. To get to a person's bio page, use this link, and replace the word "username" with the real username of the member you want to find: http://wiki.answers.com/Q/User:username

How do you become a friend with someone on WikiAnswers?
WikiAnswers is designed for asking and answering questions, not for social networking/making friends. You can chat with other contributors on their message boards and see if they have a Facebook account attached to their WikiAnswers Profile. If both of you have a Facebook account, then you can ask to be their Facebook friend.
Can you upgrade your WikiAnswers account?
There is no upgrading on WikiAnswers. You can however join a team on WikiAnswers. You can become a Supervisor or other team member as well.
Is there any website where you can log on with a WikiAnswers account?
No, WikiAnswers does not have a log in API like Google or Facebook, so you can not use your WikiAnswers account to log on to other websites. Websites owned by Answers.com may allow you to log on with a WikiAnswers account, but 3rd party websites will not. If you see a third party website asking for your WikiAnswers password, do not give it to them - they are most likely trying to scam you out of your account.

A user account can be closed by sending an email to wikianswers@wikianswers.com. There is no ownership of questions. They remain on the site for the information of other users.

No, the people on WikiAnswers are not 'dumb'. Everyone on WikiAnswers is smart in their own individual way. Calling other contributors 'dumb' is known as cyberbullying on WikiAnswers and is not tolerated.

Yes, if you are connected to Facebook your Facebook profile picture appears where the orange man currently is on your WikiAnswers profile. Currently there is no other way to create an avatar on WikiAnswers other than connecting your account to Facebook.

Why can't I improve an answer without an account on WikiAnswers?
Signing up for an account allows you to use more advanced features on WikiAnswers. You can't edit questions without signing up for an account because WikiAnswers wants you to sign up and contribute to WikiAnswers. Think of not signing up as a demo version of WikiAnswers - you can use some of the features of WikiAnswers, just to get a feel for WikiAnswers, and we give you just enough so you can figure out how everything works on WikiAnswers. Signing up for your account gives you all the standard features on WikiAnswers that you didn't get in your 'demo' version of WikiAnswers. The standard features include editing, while the demo version does not. Signing up for WikiAnswers is completely free, so signing up for WikiAnswers will allow you to edit questions. The other main reason is because of vandalism. 90% of vandalism occurs from unregistered users on WikiAnswers, so giving unregistered users the power to edit a question could potentially give them the power to wipe out every answer on WikiAnswers. That is why you must sign up for an account to edit.
Where is your email on WikiAnswers?
Only supervisors have a WikiAnswers email account. For supervisors, you should see a link that says "My Email" in the toolbar under "My Pages" to access your email account. For all other users you can communicate with other users by using the message boards on the site to send messages.
