I don't think there is any way to increase one's I.Q. as an adult . But doing puzzles, logic problems, and researching and trying to answer questions on this website may be a way of improving one's problem solving abilities.
In my opinion, if your dumb theres no cure. If you did or do well in school then you have nothing to worry about. You have heard the phrase "Use It or Lose It," and that works for the brain as well. The more you use your mind, the more intelligent you will become. Reading, working puzzles, solving problems, visualizing, and imagining are all ways to improve your intelligence. Ingelligent people can come up with new ideas and new ways to do things; it really has nothing to do with school or IQ. Even something as simple as trying a new way to get to your destination can help, because you have to think about how to get from one place to the other, and visualize the route. People who use their brains and constantly try to improve their intelligence are less likely to have mental problems as they get older. Of course, people who work at improving their brains will usually do better at school and on IQ tests, but not always.
reading day today news, sharing general knowledge queries, group discussions, learning from elders, reading books(knowledgeable books)
You probably can't, really. I don't mean to be discouraging, just that people are born with certain traits, and if you're born to be 5'8" all the effort in the world is not going to get you to 6' 11".
However, there are things you can work on to help people see you as smarter.
Just as with muscles, you can exercise your brain. Read as much and as often as possible. Preferably works by a writer who uses proper grammar. Also, if the material itself makes you think, that's a good thing. Popularizations of scientific topics might be good, since our culture tends to associate knowledge of science with "smartness" more than it does, say, knowledge of sports trivia, even though one isn't inherently harder to remember than the other. Some names to look for in non-fiction would be Rudy Rucker, Isaac Asimov, Carl Sagan and George Gamow.
Seek knowledge through more reliable resources than answers.com
Be curious about everything, ask questions whenever you can and seek knowledge in everything you do.
To be intelligent you have to study and work hard. Try your best on test even though your last one to finish your test.
You cannot make another person smarter. You can only encourage them to work on their own smarts. You become smarter by learning how to learn and by learning as much as you can about everything you can. Read as much as you can. Work puzzles and do brain games. Learn how to find information and memorize facts. Work on your brain just like you work on your muscles and you'll become smarter.
yes very much indeed
because it can help you become smarter and think fast
Its simple, become asain ;)
Some are very smart, others, not so much. The red fox is known to be very clever, so it is comparably smarter then some breeds of dogs, however a border collie, is smarter than a red fox.
Go to school
