Say the dates are in A2 and A3, with A2 being the earlier date. If you want their age based on the last birthday, no matter how close the next one is, you could use the following formula:

One simple thing is that 5 days after Monday is always a Saturday. 5 days before it is always a Wednesday. After that, for a specfic date, you have to increment the dates. If it happens to be in the same month, it is easier than if the other date is in another month. Some computer applications will do it for you, such as Microsoft Excel.
